TEKNEK offers the NWP, a web cleaning machine. The NWP can be integrated in narrow web flexographic presses in order to optimize production and realize commercial and productivity requirements. Specifically designed for narrow web processing, the NWP model uses a special elastomer roller, which runs in contact with the web, penetrating the boundary layer, which non-contact systems cannot reach. The elastomer roller removes all particles down to microscopic sizes. All contaminate particles are then immediately transferred to TEKNEK’s reverse wound pre-sheeted adhesive roller, where they are permanently trapped. When the adhesive roll becomes saturated, the outer pre-sheeted section is removed, exposing the next adhesive layer underneath.
